I hate it when your kids are sick!
Well, so far I am not that great at this blogging thing, but we have had a rough last few days. Connor is on his fourth ear infection in less than 3 months, needless to say we have been told to see an ENT, which isn't surprising since Eric and I both had tubes. In addition to the ear infection, he has been vomitting and having very 'ugly' diapers. Thus, I hate it when your kids are sick! So far Jess has not gotten sick, but we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Church and housework
Well, it was a long day, but a good day...First, we went to church where we got the privilege of witnessing John and Jylian get baptized, what a blessing! We then sent the kids with Nana and Papa so we could clean the house! I have found out that even with only working 3 days a week, I am not a good housekeeper. Although, that really isn't a shocker! I have trouble keeping up, so we needed to do an overhaul. We didn't even finish, but took a big chunk out of it, yeah! I think when I go back to work full time next year, I will get my housekeeper back, another yeah! Here's to a good week after a good Spring Break!

Friday Fun!
I am on overload, but managed to still have a good Friday...we started off at the park for lunch and play time with Jill and Averie. I guess everyone thought it was a good day for the park because it was crowded with daycare groups, but we still had a great time. We headed home for Connor's nap, and then it was off to David's Bridal to meet mom and Sarah for my final decision for my bridesmaids dress. I really like it, and I (and Sarah) am glad it is checked off the 'to do' list. Then back home for some picking up, dinner, baths, and bed. After the kiddos were in bed, I headed to the grocery store. Sometimes it is nice to get out of the house for some alone time, even if it includes produce and frozen food.
Well, off to bed...we have our first soccer game of the season in the morning!

Spring Break Fun
Well, I have not done the Disneyworld pics as promised, but I wanted to post anyway. We got to have an 'adult' day today...we went with our awesome friends, Donnie and Jill, to Southlake for some shopping and Cheesecake Factory. It was fun to have a night away from the kiddos, and of course, the food was great! We got some fun stuff from Crate and Barrell for the kitchen. Eric has really gotten into cooking lately, which is nice for me, so he got some gadgets. We got Jess some cute stuff at my favorite store, Gymboree, and I got a necklace, earrings, and purse at New York and Company. Fun Stuff!

Blogging here I come!
Well, I am finally writing my first blog! Yeah! Those of you that know me well, know that I have the worst memory ever! No, seriously, ever! So, I thought I needed a way to archive memories. I am a serious blog stalker, so I figured I might give it a try as well. Here it goes...
At this time in our lives, Eric and I have been married for 9 1/2 years, Jessalyn is 5 and Connor is 6 months. We are currently on Spring Break, but it is just hang around the house time for us. I have been working part time this year as an ESL teacher, but will be going back to full time next year. Life is fun...life is challenging:) We are still getting used to being a family of four, especially Jessalyn:) Although, at times I do feel bad for her...she was the only one, the princess, but now we have to share the spotlight with little brother. Connor is precious! I just feel as though he has a gentle, sweet spirit...and hopefully, I will not be eating my words in a couple of years. He is sitting up unassisted for about 1 minute, loves rolling from his tummy to his back except quickly hates being on his back, is working on rolling from his back to his tummy (has done it about 5-6 times), and is a great baby! He is a little on the small side, usually about 25% for height and weight (but he is proportionate), which is different for us....Jess was always hanging around the 75-85% range. We have really enjoyed getting to know our sweet baby boy..and look forward to the future. Jessalyn is our shining star! I am not biased or anything, but I think she is so talented. She is a great singer and dancer, and is really good at drawing and coloring. She takes ballet and tap, and we are about to do our second season of soccer. She will start kindergarten in the fall, and I can't believe my baby will be in 'big girl' school. Well, I think that is enough for my first post. Look for Disneyworld pics and memories in the next one!
